I hope Vincent Brown gets what he deserves for not only taking a mother, but the mother of his child. That was a senseless act of cowardness on his behalf. He deserves anything that the judge gives him.

May God bless you Officer Martin. I pray for a speedy recovery, we need you protecting the citizens of Pinellas Park.

I THINK HER PARENTS SHOULD FIRST SLAP THAT STUPID SMILE OFF HER FACE THEN LET "her" PAY THE TICKETS $$$$ AND DO SOME JAIL TIME.....

I agree to be very careful on what website's you might apply to. I tried a work-at-home job of taking pictures of houses that are foreclosured/bank owned and the only thing that happened was my wallet became thinner for the application fee. Buyer Beware!

Its such a shame that our young people don't truly understand the consequences of their actions, but I do believe they should be held accountable so it's sends a message to other young people. I think that judges need to use the law to make a statement that this kind of behavior will not be tolerated, you simply can not drink and drive, call someone..

what is the message here..... Go get drunk crash couple of cars, run if you have to finally have 3,000.00 for the judge. THIS IS INSANE.... READING THIS GETS ME SICK.....

What is most infuriating about this is the snotty smile on this girls face. It would be valuable for a judge to make her spend some time with the 20-year-old girl who plowed into the back of a car stopped at a Bradenton traffic signal around 6 a.m. last Wednesday. The 77-year-old driver of the car [who had spent twenty-years in volunteer work] died in the fiery crash. After this gal spends a few hours with her co-drunk driver, then have her spend the day with the surviving family of the delightful woman who died as a result of an irresponsible act. It was pure luck that this girl didn't kill someone, too. And the sad part - she still would probably be sporting that "no-big-deal" smile. Judge - don't let some slick lawyer talk you out of doing your job.

Jessica was my niece. She was a sweet, caring and loving young woman. Jessica was president of her high school marching band of 150 students for her junior and senior year. Jessica was also a strong member of the episcopal youth association of Miami, FL. This report is completely incorrect. Jessica ALWAYS used the crosswalk! And guess what folks you are not suppose to get mowed over by a car if you are crossing the street no matter where you are walking? And you are not suppose to get killed/murdered if the driver is following the speed limit on Fletcher in that particular area of 35 miles per hour! Yes. 35 miles per hour! I do not (in my heart) think that Sandra Sanchez was going 35 miles per hour and I am going to make sure I find out. Sandra you took my heart and the heart of Jessica's entire family of the least are about 200 members strong!
